Dear residents, starting with the 1st of December 2020, new rules to mitigate the corona pandemic from our government are in place. As the current rules did not have a sufficient effect, the following rules will apply then:

• Meetings and gatherings on the outside are limited to your own and another household. The number of persons must not exceed 5 people in any combination (§2)
• The rule with 5 persons from 2 households limitation also applies to gatherings and parties in your apartment (§6)
• In the time between the 23rd of December 2020 and the end of the 1st of January 2021, the limits are relaxed to a maximum of 10 people with no limits of households. (§2,§6)
• All other gatherings and parties are forbidden by law.

Following these rules and adapting them to our dormitory, any gatherings are limited to a maximum of 5 people, even when you are part of the same household. Independent of that, we ask you to try to not party anyways, as we still need to reduce the infection rate. We all know that following the rules is hard, specifically in the pre-Christmas time, but we ask you to stick with them so we can get over the situation and make relaxation of the rules possible. Please keep in mind, that you need to wear face masks in all stairways and entry halls.
